Attendance - located in the brown binder bottom left of teacher desk - please return to drawer once attendance is complete. Please send your EA and or student to the office with any absences (post it note)

First - Self Guided Reading Personal Novels 25 min. 

Next - Character sketches re: No Fixed Address characters - novel on teacher desk. 

Students have already completed a character sketch on Felix. Project below info onto the white board. 

Next task.

Assign students to - Groups of 2

Assign each group a character - 

Astrid

Daniel

Winnie

Dylan

Monsieur Thibault 

Mr. Ahmadi 

Horatio

Task: #1 Character Trait Page

Each group to create a character trait page that includes:

  • Character name
  • Physical description
  • Key personality traits
  • Notable relationships between characters - note - all relate to Felix of course. 
  • A quote that captures the character's essence with page #
*Lined paper at the top of my bookshelf - behind teacher desk.

Task #2 Drawing 
  • Groups create a character drawing that represents their character.
    • Distinctive features (hair color, clothing, etc.)
    • Items or symbols that represent the character’s personality or experiences (e.g., a beret for Winnie, a karate gee for Dylan etc). 
*Blank paper at the top of my bookshelf - behind teacher desk.
*Pencil crayons at the front of the room in pencil kits.

If Time - in class - each group to present your work. If not please let me know via email TTOC notes and students can present Oct 23 2024. 

Groups to hand in their work to TTOC for end of class - students to ensure your name is on your group work.
